雨と傘の散歩の話。(walk with rain and umbrella)

久々に会う友人が、地元を案内してくれました。
横手市、増田町。
蔵の町として有名で、まんが美術館がいよいよリニューアルオープン。
まだ桜もがんばって咲いてくれていて、散歩も満喫しました。
雨のなか、傘のなか。


My friend bassist guided me to Masuda, Akita.
It is a town with a lot of very old buildings called “Kura”.
There is a big library about Japanese “Manga”.
I enjoyed the walk in the rain and in the umbrella.

花見はどうやら難しい。(cherry blossom viewing)

先週末、見に行った桜はまだ、つぼみ。

週明けに咲いた桜、次の日には雨に濡れた。

この先も天気予報は思わしくなく。

花見はどうやら、難しい。

通りかかった公園で、満開の桜が見れた。

遅れる、と伝えて、少しだけ散歩。

聞くと、お祭りには咲いていない、連休にはおそらく残らない、タイミングの悪い桜だそう。

その話を聞いて、少し愛着を持てました。

ここにこのタイミングで来なければ、見れなかったから。

Last weekend, I went to see cherry blossoms.

In Japan, there is an event called "Hanami" where you gather under the cherry blossoms and drink alcohol.

But I'm not able to do it this year.

However, I could see it in full bloom in the park I passed.

I told the other party that I was late for the next schedule.

And took a little walk.

This is “The bad timing cherry blossom” , said a person in the park.

It did not bloom in the past festival.

It will not leave for the next consecutive holidays.

I heard that story and I could have a little attachment.

Because it was a good time for me.

変化の途中で。(on the way to change)

毎年、４月の中旬から5月初めにかけ、色合いが変化が大きい。
空の色、土の色、艶めく緑、咲く花。
冬の残骸がそこら中に積まれ、隠れ忘れしながら、雨の季節を待つ。
人も同時に、汗をかき、水分をとる。
花粉さえ飛ばなければ、晴れやかな気分なのに。


In the town I live in, the color of the landscape changes from mid April to the beginning of May.
Sky, soil, glossy green, blooming flowers.
Winter debris piled up in an open area.
We wait for the rainy season, hiding or forgetting something.

At the same time as the scenery, people sweat and take moisture.
If I don't suffer from pollen, I feel like it's sunny.

桜、咲かずとも。(missed flower)

桜、咲かずとも、春の息吹。

桜が咲けば、ニュースになる。

ふきのとうも、つくしの子も、恥ずかし気に、顔を出す。

その違い、大事。

椿は咲く、こぶしも咲く。

ニュースにはならない。

その違い、考えてみよう。

語られる、語られない、そんなものは関係ない。
むしろ、語られないものに、気持ちは動く。
だって、語られない花は、こんなに愛らしい。

News that cherry blossoms have bloomed.

There are many other symbols of spring.

Fukinoto, Tsukushi, what is different from cherry blossoms.

Roses also bloom.

It will not be news.

Let's think about the difference.

It doesn't matter if it's worth the news.
Rather, people are moved by things they can not talk about.
Because flowers that are not news are so adorable.
