家路の中に、好きな場所があります。
農道を少しだけ丈夫にした、200mくらいの小さな道。車もほとんど通らない、人もほとんど歩かない。
田んぼを見渡せる、季節を感じられる道。
秋にここを通って歩いて帰るのが、大人になってから楽しくなった。
自転車なら、なお良し。
秋特有の煙った匂いは、服につくのは嫌だけど、自転車で走るのは気持ちいいです。
A favorite place on the way home.

紅葉が一気に広がるなかに、白い花があって、視線を引き寄せられました。
こういう、ちょっとだけ居心地の悪そうな状況を見ると、いいなと思ってしまいます。
動物園の、そんなに人気のない、反応しないやつ、みたいな。
なにもこの時期に咲かなくても、とか、なにもここに咲かなくても、とか。
面白くて、好きです。

手伝っていたお家にお呼ばれして、お酒を飲んできました。
仮装もお菓子もない、静かな収穫祭です。この夏に一人で建てたという丸太づくりの小さな作業場や、昼でも仄暗い杉林、そこを抜けて広がる川と田んぼの風景。
この場所も、大人になって好きになった場所のひとつ。
途中、夜の道を散歩しました。
街灯も少なく、一枚羽織っても辛い寒さが応えましたが、川の音、木々の音、心地よかったです。
