本当の顔、の話。

好きなものの話をしてるときの顔がその人の顔だと思う。

相手の好きなものを否定してたら無表情ばかりでつまらない。

I think the face when talking about what you like is your true face.

If you deny what the other person likes, it's just expressionless and boring.

その時と、その経過の話。

赤く染まった時だけ、持て囃すようでごめん。

広げた緑、去年よりも伸びて増えた枝。

経過もちゃんと見ています。

The autumn leaves that turn red and yellow are beautiful.

But I want to love the process leading up to that.

The branches grew from last year, and the place was covered with green.

I'm pleased with the growth rather than the vividness of the moment.

散歩道の掃除の話。

山の方は紅葉が見頃のようです。

こちらが色づくのは、もう少し後かな。

家のまわりに、木々に囲まれた短い散歩道があります。

数人でゴミを拾って、草を刈って、綺麗にしました。

これから、朝夕の散歩が楽しみです。

サンダルの話。

長年、指先が出るサンダルが苦手だった。
変な日焼けのせいだったか。
自転車の傾きで擦りむいたせいだったか。
この夏は指先が気持ちいい。
ひとつ思い込みがなくなったから。


I didn't like the sandals until now.
Because probably one of the reasons did a strange sunburn.

仁賀保高原で思った話。

海と山が見たくて、にかほ市を廻った。

刺身も焼き魚もあら汁も美味かった。

山で叫んだ。

僕らは笑って泣いて共存している。

この自然が応えてくれる。

Sometimes I want to see the horizon.

So I went to Nikaho city in Akita.

Everything I ate (sashimi, grilled fish, soup, etc.) was delicious.

Yelled in the mountains.

We laugh, cry and coexist here.

This nature will respond.

なんて記そうか、な日。

同じ手順で作った料理でも、気分によって感じ方が変わったりする。
この自粛期間に以前よりご飯を美味しく感じた人は、作ってくれる人への感謝も味わったんだと思う。
お店でもお家でも、ご飯をつくってくれる人に敬意を。
できれば生産者にも、ね。
バラエティの演出について議論されているけど、やっぱり食べ物を粗末にするのは遠慮してほしいな。
食べ物を無駄にして笑ってたら、世界にも先祖にも顔向けできないな。

When I got some takeout food from Izakaya, many seals written “thank you” were put on the container.
I suddenly remembered that the old lady at a convenience store always gave me strawberry candy.
I want them to open the store as before.

地下水を汲み上げる機械の調子が悪く。
ウイーンと和音階で上がり下がりするモーター音を聴いて。
調子が悪いのに調子が良くて笑ってしまった。

種蒔きの機械をホワイトノイズ代わりにして音メモを作りました。
すゑひろがりずの動画を見ていると、和楽器の音を使いたくなります。

作業場の機械の擦れる音は、新幹線ホームで鳴っている音に似ている。
目に見える変化は、毎日とにかく風が強いこと。

Even in the unusual April, we sow the seeds as usual.

美味しくて、居心地も良く、いい時間でした。
近くに、ご依頼いただいた映像にも出てくる、湯都里さんも。
鹿角で過ごした夕方、散歩、楽しかったです。


On going to Kazuno, I was advised to go to 渓鶏庵(Kei-kei-an).
Japanese soba, Hinai-chicken.
It was delicious, comfortable and a good time.
Nearby, there was also a hot spring 湯都里(Yuttori) that appeared in the video I worked.
The evening spent in Kazuno, the walk was fun.

今週は大館、鷹巣、鹿角から八幡平の方に用事があり行っていました。
“same old tomorrow's glow”という曲は、鹿角の風景とそこに暮らし働く人たちの映像に添える音楽を依頼され作った曲でした。
『feel like, feel right』をリリースし、改めてその風景の中に立って、思うことがありました。


This week I went to Odate, Takanosu, Kazuno and Hachimantai.
The song "same old tomorrow's glow" was commissioned for music to be attached to the images of Kazuno landscape and the people who live and work there.
I released "feel like, feel right" and once again stood in the landscape and thought about it.

自分なりにこのバランスが上手くできた曲ではないかな、と思います。

I recorded up and down the wooden stairs in the park many times.
When recording the 2nd Album, I started by re-entering the rhythm.
Sounds actually played, field recordings, samples.
I guess it's a song that balances well.

2ndアルバムより、kota okuyamaくんとレコーディングした“bange”という曲のイメージビデオを公開しました。
RECした日はとても夕日が綺麗で、その映像に秋田の様々な場所をトイカメラで撮影したものを織り交ぜました。

kota okuyamaくんとは、高校生の時に地元の楽器屋さんにご協力いただき初めて一緒にレコーディングしました。
当時は秋田のインディーズバンドさん達にも仲良くしてもらい、たくさんの思い出を作りました。

あれから何年経ったか、一緒にアコースティックギターを弾いて、この曲を作りました。
変わったこと、変わらないこと、様々です。
僕は運がいいことに、またこうして作品を残すことができました。
音楽で繋がるということは、時間を飛び越えるということだと思います。
ただの田舎の音楽が好きな子供ふたりが、時間を越えてこんな曲を作りました。
ぜひ聴いてくださいね。

On the day of the REC, the sunset was very beautiful, and we mixed the footage of various places in Akita with toy cameras.
We recorded together for the first time in high school with the help of a local music store.
At that time, we had many indie bands in Akita get along.
And I got a lot of memories.

How many years have passed since then?
We also played acoustic guitar together to make this song.
There are various things that have changed, things that have not changed.
Fortunately, I was able to leave the work this way.
I think connecting with music means jumping over time.
Two kids who just love music living in the countryside made this song over time.

部屋の隅じゃ寂しいから、飾れるように綺麗な写真をジャケットにしました。
それ以上の景色は音に詰め込みました。

歩みとかたち、の話。(I walked, and made this works.)

夕焼けと一緒にCDが届いた。
ジャケットの写真もこれくらいの時刻でした。
過ごした2年か3年が、またこのかたちになれたんだな。
“feel like, feel right”、発売は2020年3月11日です。


2017年夏、“toro”という曲を作りました。
アートイベントの「オジフェス」に参加した際、五城目町の方を散歩し。
山々の雄大な風景、大雨の後で水量の増した川、その上流の清水。
感じ入ることの多かった景色をイメージし、この曲を作りました。
以前にSNSやsoundcloudで一部公開していましたが。
収録に向けて新録した音を加え、再編集しました。

秋、“little sense monologue”という曲を作りました。
このタイトルでsoundcloudに公開していましたが。
今回は一部の音だけを残しまったく違う楽曲になっています。
この曲はもともと、ある遠く離れた街をイメージしていました。
しかし後に、もっと自分の内面を出すような曲にしたくて。
アレンジを何度も変えながら、ドラムとピアノを主にした楽曲になりました。
そして、このアレンジが、次の作品のイメージに繋がりました。

2018年春、依頼された映像に載せる楽曲としてピアノを主にした音楽を作りました。
“same old tomorrow's glow”というタイトルで収録します。
山々に囲まれた地域で暮らし働く人を紹介する映像。
負けないように、音楽でも表せるように制作しました。

夏、“astraea”という曲の原型を作りました。
ループするトラックに合う歌詞とメロディが出来た頃には、もう秋になっていました。
そして仮歌を乗せたとき、この曲を収録したアルバムを作りたいと思いました。
アルバムタイトルは、『feel like, feel right』、メモに残しました。
そこからボーカル録音、歌に合わせた編集。
気がつけば、制作に１年かかっていました。

秋、“astraea”の打ち合わせ中に、“ただ広い暗闇、欠伸をした信号機”が出来ました。
偶然に生まれた曲だと思っています。
ボーカルの橋本愛里さんと、これはいい曲になると確信し、すぐレコーディングをしました。

冬、“ランプを灯せば”を歌ってみたいと橋本さんから提案してもらいました。
音メモ32としてピアノだけ公開していますが、歌詞と歌はあるのになく。
カヴァーしていただいたものがyoutubeで聴けるだけでした。
今回、きちんとしたかたちで、残すことができました。

2019年春、“reprize”という曲を作りました。
以前に“travesty”というタイトルで演奏していた楽曲をサンプルに。
「子供が道路にチョークで描いた飛行機で遠くへ行きたい」
ふとした瞬間の、たわいもないため息をテーマに作りました。

途中PCが壊れ、制作が一時中断。
新環境で編集作業を続けました。
上記の楽曲がまとまったのは、夏の暑さがようやく過ぎた頃。

秋、“bange”という曲を作りました。
kota okuyamaくんのギターを僕がレコーディングし始めたのは、4年ほど前。
今回もセッションをしながら作っていきました。
予定になかった歌の録音も、歌詞も、その日のもの。

soundcloudで公開していた、“rain is always looking for clouds”。
そして、“alphabetagammadelta”を収録することを決めました。
1st Albumには「田舎っぽさ」が大事だったので、省きました。
今回は「自分の好きなもの」「自分の内面」「半径10キロのこと、半径3キロのもの」という裏テーマがあり。
そこに収録できると思いました。
PCで音楽を作り始めた頃の曲をリミックス、リマスタリングする経験。
少し恥ずかしいけど、すとんと腹に落ちる気持ちでした。

冬、PROGRESSIVE FOrMさんから、リリースに向けてこれらの楽曲にいくつか音メモを加える提案をいただきました。

“ongoing”。
音メモ35より。
音メモを作り始めて2年が経ち、さらに前進したいという気持ちを込めた曲。
足音は公園の中にある木の階段を何度も登って録音しました。

“rufous scene”。
音メモ39より。
帰宅中にふと思いついた言葉と旋律をその場で録音し、その後音を加えていきました。
自分の声を使うか悩んだ気がします。
2nd Albumでは、迷いなく自分の声を活用できるようになりました。

“break in the parking”。
音メモ33より。
夜のドライブ、外は雨。
ハザードの音に合わせてコンビニのコーヒーカップを叩きました。

“the hot-air balloon floating in the chilly sky”。
音メモ48より。
毎年春には気球をテーマにした音メモを作ってきました。
その中でも、いちばんシンプルなピアノ曲。

この4曲を収録することとなり、再編集を行いました。

そして最後に作ったのが、“天気雨”。
他に収録候補となっていた新曲がどうしても納得いく出来にならず。
以前に録音し未発表だった曲をサンプルとし、組み合わせました。
これで収録曲が出揃うという緊張感と高揚感が感じられると思います。

2020年1月、これら15曲が収録された2nd Albumのリリースが発表されました。
前回のリリースから、音メモを含めればかなりの数の曲を作りましたが。
『feel like, feel right』というアルバムタイトルに見合う楽曲を揃えました。

3月、手元に、この過ごした時間がかたちになって届きました。
発売を静かに待っています。

In the summer of 2017, I made a song called “toro”.
At that time, I took part in an art event and strolled through the mountains of  Akita.
There was a magnificent landscape, a river that had increased water after heavy rain, and a calm view upstream.
I made this song while imagining those places that I often felt.
It was previously released on SNS and soundcloud.
I added the newly recorded sound and edited it again.

In autumn, I made a song called “little sense monologue”.
It was released to soundcloud with this title.
I made a completely different piece of music with only some sounds left.
This song originally imagined “overseas”.
However, I wanted to make the song more revealing myself.
After repeated improvements, the song became mainly a drum and piano.
And this arrangement gave me the feeling of making the next album.

In the spring of 2018, I made music mainly for piano as a song to be included in the introduction video of welfare work.
The title is "same old tomorrow's glow".
It was created with the heart of those who live and work in an area surrounded by mountains.

In summer, I made a prototype of a song called “astraea”.
By the time lyrics and melodies were available for the looping track, it was already autumn.
And when I put a temporary song on it, I wanted to make an album that included this song.
The album title is "feel like, feel right".
I left it in a note.
From there, vocal recording, editing to the song.
It took me a year to make it.

In the fall, during a meeting for “astraea”, a song called “ただ広い暗闇、欠伸をした信号機(Signal yawned in wide darkness)” was made.
I don't know why this song was made at this time.
It was accidental.
I was convinced that this song would be a good song with vocalist Airi Hashimoto.

In winter, Airi Hashimoto said, 「I would like to sing "ランプを灯せば(lamplight)"」.
Piano-only takes were released.
I'm glad that you can listen to it with vocals and various instruments included.

In the spring of 2019, I made a song called “reprize”.
I sampled the song “travesty” I played in the past.
The lyrics are "The child drew an airplane with chalk on the road, I want to go far on it".
The theme was a sigh of unfortunate moments.

After that, my PC was broken and the production was suspended.
At last, I continued editing in the new environment.
The songs introduced above were completed when the summer heat was finally over.

In autumn, I made a song called “bange”.

I started recording for kota okuyama about four years ago.

We made the sessions as usual.

Both the recording of the song that was not planned and the lyrics, the idea of ​​the day.

I decided to include "rain is always looking for clouds" and "alphabetagammadelta" released on soundcloud a few years ago.

The two songs did not fit in the 1st Album and were omitted.

The theme of the 2nd Album is "My favorite things", "My inner surface", "Feeling at a 10km radius, and living with a 3km radius".

I thought it could be recorded there.

Experience remixing and remastering early songs.

A little embarrassing, but I was convinced.

In winter, PROGRESSIVE FOrM provided a proposal to add some sound memo to the above songs for release.

This is a song with a desire to move forward.

Footsteps were recorded by climbing wooden stairs in the park many times.

“rufous scene”.

While returning home, I recorded the words and melody that came to my mind, and then added sound.

I feel worried about using my voice.

With 2nd Album, I can use my voice without hesitation.

“break in the parking”.

Night drive, rain outside.

I hit the coffee cup with the sound of the hazard.

“The hot-air balloon floating in the chilly sky”.

Every spring I make sound memo on the theme of balloons.

Among them, the simplest piano song.

Re-edit these 4 songs and record them in 2nd Album.

The last song I made for this album was "天気雨(sun-shower)".

Another new song that was a candidate for inclusion could not be satisfied.

I combined previously unrecorded songs as samples.

I think that you can feel the tension and excitement that the recorded songs will be available.

In January 2020, the release of the 2nd Album containing these 15 songs was announced.

Since the last release, I made quite a few songs, including sound memo.

I have prepared songs that match the album title "feel like, feel right".

I walked, and made this works.
Now I'm quietly waiting for the release.

景色の移り変わりが激しい。
２日前まではあんなに雪のない１月はなかった。
田んぼを歩いて珍しい景色を見届けました。
一日でまた雪深い。
でもこの景色も続かないらしい。
はたして雪まつりの行方は。

りんごのかほりの話。(the scents of apple)

りんごをたくさんいただいた。
冷蔵庫のように冷えた玄関に置いてある。
朝、りんごの香りで一日が始まる。

例年より暖かい冬を送っていますが、放射冷却の朝は、寒い。
いつも凍った景色へ写真を撮りに行くのですが。
寝坊して、気づけばだいぶ緩んでいた。
来月には、また機会があるかな。

I got a lot of apples from an apple farmer I knew.

I put the cardboard in the cold entrance like a refrigerator.

In the morning, the day begins with the scent of apples.

We send warmer winter than usual.

But the morning of radiant cooling is different.

I usually go to take pictures of frozen landscapes.

物欲の話。(my greed)

物欲は、突然あらわれる。
雪の日ブーツをひとつ買うと、もうひとつブーツが欲しくなる。
普段はそんなこと考えていなかったのに。
ブーツ欲。

買い物好きな人と一緒にいると、欲しいものが出てくる。
でも、一人になると、本当に欲しいのか、考える。
人は影響で出来ている、あらためて思う。

When I was with a shopping lover, I wanted to shop.
But when I'm alone, I wonder if I really want it.

過ぎた正月の話。(On New Year's Day)

積もって、一度解けて、大晦日からまた積もりました。

正月もあっという間に過ぎて、また日常ですね。

今年もよろしくお願いします。

正月三が日は、ほぼ料理をしていました。

食べてくれる人がいればいるほど、かける時間も長くなるもので。

量の問題ではなく、気持ち的に。

思い出すと、ずっと料理していた気がするな。

家でも、他所でも、カウンター越しに、話してた。

そんなお正月でした。
